If we had stayed up yes, but he seems more likely to go to a prem side, perhaps someone like Brum or even Sunderland. He says he can play prem footie for another two years, so I would rule him out and he would never fit our wage structure

Even if we paid him 25k a week that would be £2.6m in wages on a 2 year contract.

Not a bad overall outlay for a player of his calibre.

 

Would never pay nearly £3M for a 34yr old, could be spent so much better elsewhere.

 

Always reminded me a little of Darren Anderton... had potential, never fulfilled it. Defintely laughing all the way to the bank
