I am not comparing their quality and I don’t know why you’d read my post that way. I am comparing the Pukki-Samir incident to the Thiago-Kane one which was very similar and occurred the same weekend.

When Thiago does exactly the same thing it’s considered a mark of his experience but because Samir is generally worse and has lesser pedigree his same action is somehow indicative of naivety.

 

There are plenty of people who think Thiago dived and was lucky to get away with it. many, many people.

I've also had some other freak on Twitter today telling me this window was an 8/10 for us, and that we've improved in "every area"... ignoring the obvious fact that, for a start, we haven't signed players in "every" area whatsoever, and that so far our few new signings have amounted to a late draw against Newcastle and being pumped at home by ******* Norwich.

Insufferable fanbase this club has.

 

I think the £25m is from Transfermarkt and is incorrect. Leventhal had previously reported that it was about £4m for the 4 winter arrivals (excluding Okoye and Asprilla). I think there are reports out there saying Okoye was 6m Euros and Asprilla around £2m.

 

Thank goodness for that!
