I'm a big fan of trainers, my friends say I have an obsession and too many pairs.

How big is everyone else's shoe collections, what do you wear and what are your favourites?

 

I have quite a lot at the moment. My current favourites are my blue, stefan janoski max's and my normal stefan janoski's

 

I have 4 pairs of shoes, because I'm not a girl. Flip flops, my Vans trainers, smart shoes and sports trainers. Why is there the need for more?

 

Adidas originals. I've had so many pairs over the years. Must be well over a hundred pairs

 

Because I buy some, then wear them for a year (ish) get bored of them and buy new ones, but the other ones are still useable.

 

Really want a pair of Janoski's, they do some pretty outrageous designs and colourways which I need in my life

Not necessarily girly to appreciate footwear my friend! A pair of trainers can make of break you, and they say women make decisions on people judging by their footwear, if people see you in the same shoes every day, you look boring.

Nothing better than a new the smell, feel and day of wearing new trainers.

Ok you're going to have to elaborate on that one because I seriously don't understand how you can get bored of a pair of shoes? Just wear them until they wear out, then buy a pair to replace them and chuck the old ones in the bin/give them to a charity shop.

 

Different shoes for different occasions, different colours and styles etc etc. Do you have one t-shirt until you've got all you can use it for?

Nah I appreciate footwear, I just don't feel the need to buy them in the end. As far as the women judging you on your footwear, I know that's true, but then I don't think those kind of women are my type. However I completely do agree with your last statement. Having looked at my trainers just now, I think I need to take better care of them. A little bit of shoe-shining is in need.

Hoping to go somewhere with an actual decent trainer shop. Can't stand footlocker and chichester is crap for trainers. Anyone on the south coast know where's good to go?

 

Yes, I'm Homer Simpson. I have different t-shirts and shirts because I know people look at them more than your shoes and consequently judge you more on your shirts and trousers than your shoes. My shoes might be a bit bland but they're effective in that they're just about casual enough to get away with in a normal, every-day situation, but they're formal enough for me to wear them in London clubs.

£55 if I remember correctly, from Schuh in Westfield Shepherds Bush. The best thing about these trainers is that the front and the back brown patch are leather, whilst the middle bit is canvas. Sounds weird, but after a bad experience with canvas and rain I've tried to steer away from canvas as much as I can whilst still getting something that looks good.

 

I'm a big fan of suede atm. Hoping to get a hold of some suede Stan Smith's after adidas brought them back

 

I have a good collection of Stan Smiths and Superstars 2. Always worn Adidas originals but do like the old school Pumas as well (same company really if you look back). You can get your own Superstars made by Adidas on their website as well.

As long as you do not wear Reebok Classics, no problem with me.

I only tend to have 2 pairs on a go at the same time but I must admit, I probably have 5 or 6 pairs unworn in my cupboard. I am size 13 so it is hard to actually get trainers so when they come up,I tend to buy them and save for the future.

 

Never got the love of footwear. My feet are far too wide (fat) to fit in a pair of them addidas things. Have to say I have got the same make & style of trainers for the last 10/11 years. If they ever stopped making them, I'd be ****ed.

 

A former work colleage had over 300 pairs in a specially set up basement. He kept them in their boxes and never wore them. The most he paid for a pair of trainers was $500.

I have about 6 or 7 pairs of shoes, 2 pairs of trainers. Most I ever spent was £80 on a pair of Air Jordan VIs, new when they were current. The first time round - yes I'm old.

I have 3 pairs of trainers, a pair of plimsolls under a seat of my car, smart shoes, pair for nights out.

I mostly wear my Puma Suede's but I'm tempted to get some Adidas Gazelle's (the blue ones).

It's long considering the length of the cue but worth it if I pick up a nice pair

Have had a pair of Adidas samba and white converse for as long as can remember.

 

I have a pair at work for running at work and a pair at home for running at home. I have a high-vis yellow pair for running at dusk. I think that's excessive, to be honest and am planning a consolidation.
