Tonight - Moroccan meatballs

    take some mince and in a bowl, mix well with paprika, turmeric and cumin. I also use a beaten egg and a blob of tomato puree. Mix well with your hands until the spices are even through the mixture, then form into balls a little bigger than a marble.

    Fry an onion and some crushed garlic in a little oil, then add chilli, a dash of ginger, and some more turmeric, cumin and paprika along with a couple of cans of tomatoes, or a can of tomatoes and some pasata.

    Add the balls gently, so as not to squash them and simmer for about 30-40 minutes.

    I serve this with couscous and mushymushymushrooms.
