http://www.southlondon-today.co.uk/Sport.cfm?id=38334 Would be good for him to get a Championship loan next season.
If we sign another CB we ll prob loan him out as he needs regular game time whilst hes developing. When Ekstrands gets back at Xmas we ll defo be loaning him out imo
A loan would be good if he would play as many games as possible. However, he has been incredible in some games, for example Chelsea in the FA Cup, and would be interesting to see if he could make the step up.
I think he can, but probably not as a left back. His left foot is just *horrible* Takes far too long for him to adjust onto his right.
He was our best left-back last season and only Anya trumped him at LWB. I honestly think he's one of our most underrated players and I'd definitely want to keep him.
He needs to be loaned out, yes he's good but he's got a lot to learn. Mainly being calm on the ball, too many times last year the ball was put out for a throw by him needlessly, maybe this being down to that he doesn't feel comfortable at LB who knows.
He was very good last year so has earned the right to stay, and I think he's better off learning in the Premier League. He'll make solid backup for Prodl, Angella and Cathcart if we play four at the back. Plus he can play as a left back when needed. Just being around the squad and travelling to these huge teams will be a good experience for him. However, if we get to January and he's barely played a minute, I think we might consider it.
If we sign another centre back then there's no point making him sit on his backside for half a season. Get him out to play a full season in the Championship.
I would still have him in the squad over pudil, and given the fact he is a homegrown player I personally would like to see him stay with us
You'd have thought he makes enough money not to need a loan. Wonder what it's for..starting a business maybe?
Whatever happens I want him to develop in the right way and not fall by the wayside. I'm an Ireland supporter and Christ do we need youth coming through. Frankly our options at left back are so revolting, (playing Robbie Brady there in recent games), that if he continues to train as one I won't complain!
Play him right back or I don't think it's that good a signing. His biggest issue when at Newcastle. Problem you get is they naturally come inside to play the ball, and if they nick the ball off you they're away. Having that left footer playing to the outside, if the ball gets nicked odds are its going out of play.
