[NOT HAPPENING] Tomas Rincon

Allegedly we are trying to sign Tomas Rincon from Juventus according to reports in Italy.

No idea who he is or what position he is, or if he will require a Work Permit. Do your own homework etc etc.

 

A 29yr old Venezuelan defensive midfielder (also plays right-back) who Juve only signed in January for £6.8m from Genoa.

Great, by the end of the week we'll have a squad of 24 midfielders, Gomes and Richarlison. But it's alright because we've brought in 3 English players

I seem to remember years ago playing Actua Soccer (I think) and one of the few words the commentator used to shout was RINCON every time he took a shot.

 

Saw this too in an article but was about us wanting Lemina who is considered the 'primary' target, but also stating we're looking at Rincon aswell

Personally, I'd love another pure DM like Behrami (Rincon) and a real BTB player like Lemina. That would give roughly two quality players for each position, and would probably involve Capoue, Behrami, and Watson leaving.

 

It would be criminal to leave any of Doucoure, Lemina and Chalobah ( from what Ive seen preseason) so Lemina would have to play the CAM role in the Pogba style and Pereyra on the flank. Richarlison/Success on the other flank and Deeney/Okaka up top.

Wouldnt say no to that.
