Odd how people say we are cheating, but no mention of cheating when it comes to Russian/Arab billionaires pumping money into the kitty.

Meanwhile the Leicester forum for sane people (the one I use) has barely had a mention of Watford for weeks.......

If people don't understand something, they're inclined to dislike/not trust it. Every fan in the league has more important things to worry about with FFP and a league that will be hugely competitive and tight as always this coming season. We're having a quiet summer, so some will moan about Watford, Palace look set to get ****ed every week in the Prem and they moan about Watford too. Both these sides have very recent history with you and the whole set up at your club is relatively new and pretty much unseen in this country, so naturally its causing a stir.

But things change all the time in football, we get used to new ideas and desensitised to change in my opinion. The rebranding of leagues and teams, nouveau riche clubs and the never ending merri-go-round of players and coaches are part and parcel of the sport, and in 6 months I honestly believe that people will be completely used to your setup and having nothing more to talk about other than league form or how your players are playing, not where they've come from or how they've joined.

I'm loving the whole "you're avoiding FFP" The quoted bulletpoints are from UEFA and reasons why we are assisting FFP.

Cutting the size of the Udinese/Granada squad where they are paying their salaries for not much game time. Lower/no transfer fee will not effect inflation.

We are creating a revenue at Watford, sponsorship/crowd size/merch. We are looking to compete.

We ain't going anywhere soon. Neither are the other clubs the Pozzo family own.

All in all, the Pozzos are adhering to all points that were set out in the UEFA guidelines relating to FFP.

 

Well now explain that it's a section 19 embargo ... we basically just have to show our finances are now in order to get approval.
