and another point for fans who were around in the l8 90's early 2000's they will all tell you what luton are capabile of

    ive seen it 1st hand

and a threat of them attacking a local pub is a big one

No i can't, it's a pub for god sake not some sort of hallowed shrine. There's plenty of other pubs to drink in.

Protecting a pub, this thread gets better and better. :sign1:

I have never expierienced so much sense being spoken in my entire life.

As for being chased out of the One Bell, never have I heard so much utter *******s in my life. Those who were there and/or involved will be the ones who know the true run of events.

At the end of the day, the one Luton lad in question was there to watch England play, as he is English...Why is this so hard to understand? Myself and many others all over England put club rivalries aside when the 3 Lions play, we call it patriotism.

I just pity the few who fail to see when England play, everyone is Red and White

What's wrong with watching an England game on a day where everywhere is neutral?

Idiot, he can watch the game where he wishes and if he chooses to watch the game with some mates that happen to live in Watford and support Watford then so be it, it doesn't actually effect you does it. Not causing you pain or anguish so get a grip.

when it comes to england i dont think it matters who you support , its about coming together as a nation as one to shout abuse at steve mclaren

  19. G_Block_Hatter

    G_Block_Hatter RIP David Preece

    Why not?

Watford is part of England is it not? Therefore would it just be me who would assume that English people would be welcome there watch the English national team play?

If we go along on that theory then in effect he isn't neutral anywhere unless you can point him in the direction of neutral city.

It goes back to my point of the FACT that him enjoying a drink and watching the england game in watford in a pub with some mates, DOESN'T ACTUALLY EFFECT YOU.

u would do, u asked him down, with one foot in both camps, i not surprised you agree.

  22. G_Block_Hatter

    G_Block_Hatter RIP David Preece

She did not invite him down, he went to Watford on his own accord after bumping into CJ outside of Wembley.

Please have the full story before you spout over the web and accuse people of things they haven't done.

May I also take this opportunity to second Chewitts statement that his presence for the England game doesn't affect you in any way, if it did, you are one sad little person.

No, but I was enjoying the comfortable leather sofas in there for a good space of time.

Why do you find it hard to understand that a single person would go into a town to watch his national side play and NOT want trouble with a fellow Englishman, even more so being hopelessly outnumbered anyway

    Cheers

Ummmm, I have a few things to say on this matter.

First off the person who had a confrontation was off his face and would of done things differently if he was only on the beer, and I don't think he would have dropped that pint glass either, I think he would of used it in a much more useful way;) as I know the bloke very well and I think every one knows he got stupid that day and anybody who saw him falling asleep huggin the fruity would understand that.

Secondly, I heard that a mob of them was coming to try and take the bell, why there was a mob waiting in the other pub instead of where I was I do not know but it would of left the few of us in the Bell absoloutly F***ed if they had of come down and taken the pub!

Thirdly, why invite any scum fan to the bell? That was a guaranteed kick off somewhere along the line!

Chewitt, I am not going to have a pop, but honestly, why read the thread if you do not like it and make provocative comments?

And the scummer didn't get chased off but didn't look to comftable with standing around to say the least which is understandble we all know Watford would rip Scum apart!
