Calvin is a rather umpleasant religious fundamentalist, who has been saying more and more provocative things, basically stating that his religious beliefs are baseline law. Not necessarily a sackable offence, but I am not personally dissapointed if he has chosen to remove himself from the public forum. I don't like any extremism. And I don't watch GB News unless it gets pushed to me, but I can't think that getting rid of the pointless, boring as F, pub braggart, that is Fox, will result in a reduction in quality. Quite happy for him to leave the country too, if that is what he wants to do. But will he get away before GoBE gets to Ireland? It is a real shame on so many levels. Not long ago you could get the real facts and opinions of genuine bonafide and verified experts in their fields. Now anyone with a few spare dollars gets a blue tick and are prioritised in any search. It's painted as being all about free speech but crazy opinions and made up information is now presented as fact. No wonder conspiracy loons from anti-vaxxers to climate change deniers (a lot of overlap there I know) are convinced that we are under the power of the WEF or lizardmen, or whatever, because they have read in on the internet.
