I am finding the sheer arrogance of Championship bound West Ham United quite appalling, if not particularly irritating! Why does Curbs seem to think he can snap up all the best players from every other Premiership teams outside the Top 4?! Does he think that Newcastle captain Scotty Parker would want to leave a team unbeaten in Europe --- serious contenders to win the UEFA Cup. where he is worshipped as a hero, with superior support, gunning right up the league, despite the fact 12 senior players are out (some of which are world class). Does he think that Scotty would swap this for a relegation struglle followed by Championship football next season? Does he think that Mark Viduka would leave an on form Boro for the Hammers strugglers?! Ha ha ha ha! Dear me! It's totally embarrassing!
Does he think Lucas Neill will swap the lure of European football with Liverpool for a doomed relegation fight with Wet Spam (ok, here's £60K a week) - mmmm, Plaistow's better than Paris any time!
