In first place and like WFC top of the league goes to @Ghost of Barry Endean with a stomping 37 points followed by @EB Hornet with a very creditable 31! there were quite a few scores in the high 20's, in last place @GoingDown unfortunately lived up to their name with a miserable 2 points!

With just 9 correct scores this week against 30 last match, top place goes to @The Voice of Reason with 25 points with new player @folkestone orn in 2nd place with 23 points for what is their 1st set of predictions, all bar one person has Leicester to win away at Huddersfield however only one @wfc4ever predicted the correct 1-0 score! out of 40 players 37 predicted a home win for WFC with just 3 predicting a draw but none predicting 0-0! The wooden spoon goes and I know he will be dreading it @domthehornet with 7 points however all is not lost as they will be sharing it this round with @Watford Gav

 

@Ghost of Barry Endean just manages to hold onto 1st place on the leader board from @The Voice of Reason but like WFC's season we all know its early days! @Crezzy95 has taken over from @GoingDown at the bottom! the next round will be up tomorrow!

With a total of 23 correct predictions this round there were a few decent scores, in first place was @tonycotonstache with 31 points followed by @domthehornet with 29!, the wooden spoon goes to @goldpapaya with 9 points, with 5 players ahead scoring just 11 points!

 

Leaderboard, @Ghost of Barry Endean keeps their top place with a lead of 4 points, with @Knight GT and @The Voice of Reason swapping their positions in 2nd and 3rd respectively!, down at the bottom @GoingDown regains their last place position with @Crezzy95 moving up a couple of positions this round

I see we are level with Cthulhu on 49 points but you have reversed the alphabetical order to keep you on top. Organiser's privilege

 

Actually I just do a data sort with the total in descending order, I’ve got no idea how it decides to put the order of names in the event of a tie, I can ensure you I’m just glad to get the figures correct and really aren’t bothered about the alphabetical order in the event of a tie!

 

I know, just kidding .

I was equal 4th after week 1. I'm falling quicker than Ishmael's chances of being employed before the end of September.

 

Match 4 prediction league results with a total 20 correct predictions, for the 2nd time this season @The Voice of Reason is top with 32 points having 2 correct predictions , followed by @The undeniable truth with 30 the only person who correctly predicted our game! down at the bottom there were 4 players with 9 points however only one of those @Westsydneyhornet only managed 5 predictions the others receiving their points by default!

Match 5 results one of those weeks when you should have put the opposite of what you predicted, with just one correct prediction well done to @Clive_ofthe_Kremlin who corrected predicted Hull would win 1-0 away to Leicester, goodness knows as to why they thought that would happen! Top places go to @With A Smile and @HappyHornet24 with 20 points each, there were more single figure scores than doubles!, the wooden spoon is shared by 5 with just 4 points I won't embarrass them by highlighting!

 

League table after 5 games, we have a new leader @Knight GT 2 points ahead of @Ghost of Barry Endean and @The Voice of Reason. Down at the bottom @folkestone drops 2 places to last place taking over from @WatfordTalk who climbs 4 places

 

This season is all about survival

 

Don’t look at the table after only 5 games!
Look at the current predictive analysis by the COGS and Bedwtters for what happened last season..

A nice strong 4th place for the week and top 10 going into the break.

A decent 2 weeks now to work with the lads who aren't going away on international duty to get them ready for the predictions league once we're back to club football again.

Match 6 results, with 26 correct predictions including 6 correct for Sunderland to win away at QPR 3-1 which is pretty impressive, top this week are @Westsydneyhornet and @PowerJugs both new to the game this season with 36 points followed by @Diamond with 35, bottom I'm afraid with 5 points were @Ghost of Barry Endean and @Cassetti's Beard.

 

@The Voice of Reason goes from 3rd to 1st place on the strength of @Knight GT and @Ghost of Barry Endean not having such good weeks, @GoingDown reclaims last place living up to their name!
