West Ham are apparently in talks over a £13 million transfer. Maybe im bias but surely if West Ham are putting in a bid for a player of that quality surely we should be able to compete. Sounds like the sort of player that would be ideal for us and totally different from what we already have.

 

Cannot ever see us getting him and West Ham/Everton strike me as most obvious clubs for him but I’d absolutely love him at Watford. Brilliant goal scorer, one of the best poachers around in the box and if we did play with both he’d be a perfect partner for Deeney I think.

 

Wages

 

No... West Ham have much more money than us and would be able to outbid us in every way whether it is through offering a higher wage or a bigger upfront fee.
Anyways, it's not the Pozzo way to purchase players that have proven themselves in the Prem unless they are either rejects or too old so I doubt we'd even get a look in on Chicharito

 

Good player but I think he's out of our league in terms of wages. His last three clubs have been ManUre, Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen.

 

We need to be realistic and accept that we will never be able to compete financially with the massive clubs like West Ham and Muff!

If not him, then a similar type of forward. Cannot stick with a forward that has no partner. West Ham may get him, Muff have Defoe and these are the sort of forwards who are a constant irritant to defenders. We simply do not have that.
