Whilst i appreciate this site has quite a few members the old fiscal board didn't have, quite a few did make it across. But there seems to have been a dramatic shift in peoples posting habits. On the old boards whilst the evenings / nights were popular the higher % of posting was done during the day. having not been on for a while and going back through old posts yesterday in various forums it appears on here that peak posting times are now later in the day? Any thoughts to why this shift has occurred or has no one else even noticed it?
I always used to find peak times on the old MB were around 11am - 1pm but now it's more 5pm ish on here.
Here's a chart of hourly usage for December. It may be a bit innacurate due to Christmas, but you get the idea.
Do you have one for November? the trouble with December's is it will be distorted potentially due to people being off work over Xmas and the New Year. Although i guess Novembers is when the peak happened of people moving over when the old boards died.
I normally only post between 8.30 - 5 as it's when I'm at work as I don't have internet access at home. Maybe that is the reasoning behind some of the posting. Then again this would contradict the theory that people are posting later in the day.
Here's Novembers. Just realised that these hours are U.S. hours. So shift all bars to the right by 6 colums!!! (including the one for December above)
I would like admin to post a chart recording the hourly worldwidw sales of jars of marmalade and comparing the said chart of marmalade to that of a chart of the sale of honey jars. I would then very much like to see how these sales are split between continents, countries, cities, towns, villages, hamlets ( yes even cigars eat marmalade and honey) and shytehole up the M1 and then if not too time consuming between the major supermarkets and the little local corner shops. I am very interested if the South eat more marmalade and honey than the North. Over to you admin.
Good question, but think you misunderstand the term "marmalade". Marmalade is in fact a second-generation, extensible XML scripting tool. In function, it is similar to Jelly, but is much smaller and more flexible. It is also similar to JSP in some (admittedly superficial) ways. Think I'm going mad, then click this link? The only other case of marmalade I know about is a person calling herself Lady Marmalade, here's a picture... I'd say 4-5 pints myself, but why anyone wants to name themselves after a scripting tool is beyond me
IMO the cause for the big shift in posting is mainly due to the lack of post by Jobr causing a mass scew to all the figures.!!
