Aha - hence the name! We're sitting somewhere just off junction 30 of the M1 so a bit further out from Sheff.

 

Our first two home games are very winnable. Vital we get off to a good start.

Tough start to the season. Warnock and his team will be well up for it.

Glad we play Lut*n behind closed doors, keeps our Premier League stadium in tact.

Will never understand Watford fans sometimes. Why would you ever feel glad we are playing our arch rivals behind closed doors. It’s literally what this game is all about. F**king grow a pair you tart.

8 games in December is interesting, probably a good thing that Boxing day is a Saturday or they may have squeezed another in. Odd reverses here as all of our first 4 games are returned in April, don't supposed it makes any difference but a bit strange.

I'm looking forward to it, hopefully see a few more W's on the board this season (if we have anybody left in the team).

 

If we are allowed back in October, our first match at home that month is v Blackburn on the 21st, just two months to wait.

Not surprised the derby game is early in the season, a little disappointed we don't get a home crowd against them. Also disappointed we won't get the chance to go to Wycombe away...

 

Luton game will probably be on TV. Will be interesting to see what the police will do as I can see a few of their lot coming to Watford.

I set mine up to do it in advance of the fixture release and just checked and it seems to have worked fine. The whole lot appear to be there.

I think the Boro game is more likely to be on TV.

Luton game would only be “interesting” if there were fans present.

 

Did they televise the regular season derby games in the Championship after the restart?

 

Dunno. Would we be on twice in three weeks though?

Think the Boro game is attractive to TV as it is Vlad v Warnock.

 

Potentially? I dunno, don't know what other potentially interesting games are on the opening day, but surely the first derby in 15 years would be of interest to Sky?
