We're after him apparently. As are Muff. http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/watford-and-afc-bournemouth-interested-in-move-for-championship-midfielder/
Not a bad squad player to have around but don't think he is better than what we already have. Much more excited about the Italian players were being linked too who are better than what we have.
Think we were linked with him years ago when he was a young League One player. Decent player and would help the home grown quota, which we seem to be neglecting somewhat!
im pretty sure there is though i dont know the numbers required. we must be looking for better than Arfield if we want to stay up!
8 from the 25 man squad have to be homegrown (trained at an English club for at least 3 years when below the age of 21) I think. That's the case on Football Manager at least
Or have enough gaps in the squad to add up to 8. E.G. 6 homegrown players + 2 gaps (so only a 23 man squad) is sufficient
http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015...tm_source=twitter&utm_content=HITCdeadlineday Oh look, some guy scored a few goals for Rangers. Let's whack the promoted club's names on there, job done.
Think he was playing in Scotland round about the time we got McGinn. Or perhaps his Christian name is confusing me ? I agree with others - underwhelming.
That's right, he was at Falkirk originally. Not a bad player for the championship but agree with jellyman that it'd be pretty underwhelming if we signed him. He'd be a squad player at best.
Strange reaction. Young, homegrown, combatative midfielder with a season of premier league experience who our scouting team identified as one for the future just a couple of years ago. Can't see us going for him when he's got a couple of years on his contract, but less of a risk than the gamut of foreigners touted around every day.
I don't know a lot about him, but I think he could be good, I seem to remember hearing his name a lot in commentary when Burnley were on telly last season, and usually in a good way.
