At best it was the signing of a hugely underpar player at a time when we needed strengthening to stay up. Worst case it's part of something very sinister to help out the agent who isn't given preferential treatment.
Standard response. Our club funneled millions out on a transfer which made no sense at a crucial time for the team and yet people still give benefit of the doubt. 'Win some lose some.'
Gino could set fire to the stadium and some will claim “shi1t happens, just look at Bradford”. No matter what Gino ever does, some fans will always make excuses for him.
Seeing as loads of people died at Valley Parade they probably wouldn’t wise to compare it to that tragic event but maybe Doncaster in the 90s might be a better example of an owner setting fire to a stand . https://www.independent.co.uk/news/exowner-of-doncaster-rovers-jailed-for-arson-plot-1078635.html
Hold on a cotton pickin’ minute! Midway through last season you were reprimanding people for not giving Kalu a chance after he mustered an above average sun appearance!
You mean nearly a year ago! I'm always up for giving people a chance but this one has never worked and was clearly a complete waste of time. Moog suggested people were still on board with this signing and I just said I don't believe anybody is anymore
Best if you believe me when I tell you someone is dung in future: like that guy who scored 2 goals on debut last week
I once watched Ashley Young in an Under 21 game for Watford and confidently said he will never make a footballer so never listen to anything I say!
His loan ends this season so he's probably going to back with us for the next one. Any idea how much he's aged since we last saw him?
Hopefully we can actually recoup something for him, but I fear we're going to have to pay up his contract
Anyone know what nursing home he is in so I can send him some nice comfy slippers and maybe a cardigan.
Disgraceful signing from start to finish. Pozzo putting the welfare of his agent associate above the well being of our club. (See Bayo etc).
