http://www.chelsea.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=554381 Loan deal with a view to a permanent deal apparently...
Hope so he has always looked a decent player whenever I have seen him. Fee is believable as well if their is truth in the Stambouli rumours.
Never seen him play. Hes just finished a season in the Bundesliga, anyone of our German experts on here have a scout report ?
His team (Stuttgart) avoided relegation on the last day, not a great start! He's a very defensive player, rarely goes forward and not much of a creative outlet. Very tough tackler though (not brilliant at tackling, they feel it after!), definitely not afraid to get stuck in. Decent in the air. Last season was his best after a forgettable few spells in Spain. Contract up according to transfermarkt. Would prefer Stambouli but it depends on the overall cost of that I guess!
Oops, it's actually the same on transfermarkt, but this summer is when the loan is up obviously, my bad.
Liked him a lot in that period a couple of years ago where he played a fair bit. But, we do have Watson and Tozser in the same position.
Booo! (Vital Football is hit and miss as every club's site is run essentially independently. But still... Booo!) (...in case you hadn't noticed on the left hand side of this post, I run Vital Watford.)
True re: Watson actually, second-choice defensive-mid he should be. Tozser is a different breed. Horses for courses n all that.
I dont think so - he's been on loan foreign. home grown counts as training in England for 36 months under the age of 21.
