Jay Demerit's film Rise and Shine will be shown during the first football film festival. There will only be one screening, at Everyman Hampstead cinema on Sunday Sep 25th at 14:30. I'm moving to Nottingham then, so won't be able to go. :doom:
What happened to the film about one mans journey from non league to the premiership? I must admit, sounds like a thrill every minute!
Think I'll Wait For The Blu Ray Version https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=247453745291233&set=a.208746675828607.44353.190585907644684&type=1&theater
Opportunity there. Get on the credits. Endorse the film " Great insight into Jay's rise to the top etc etc etc" WFC Forums. " A must see for every Watford Fan etc etc etc " WFC Forums.
That takes me back. It must be 50 years since I was at the Everyman - I assumed it must have been demolished ages ago.
The Everyman is quite a posh arty cinema now Ron. And I saw the preview of the Rise & Shine film in an almost finished form a few months ago. It's good, if a bit dated now, as it ends at the World Cup. The interviews with insight from his mates, Aidy, Ray Lewington and the yanks like Bruce Arena are good.
Was going to go, but my kick off is at 2pm in Fulham today so cant. Surely they could do a special screening at the club or something at a later date? I'd love to see it
