Rip Donald Rumsfeld

Mr Rumsfeld, one of the principle architects of the Iraq war, has passed away aged 88.

My thoughts, prayers and sincere condolences to the weapons manufacturers and oil companies who have lost their most loyal hatchet man.

 

At least we still have Henry Kissinger.

 

Watched that film where he’s played by Christian Bale not long ago, worth a watch.

 

He may be gone, but his legacy lives on in the depleted uranium inside generations of Iraqi kids.

 

Good film, and Rumsfeld certainty features, but Bale plays Dic.k Cheney. Steve Carell does old Rummy.

 

Oh yeah, of course. Getting my American war mongers mixed up.

 

He did however give us this gem.

 

People take the mickey out of that but if you read it carefully enough it makes perfect sense.

He even helpfully explains each point after he says it. Lost on most though.

 

The disgusting thing is people feel they have to sugar-coat his legacy now he had died. The guy was evil. Let's not pretend otherwise.
