I was gonna suggest him a while back, not sure if I ever did. Anyway, very promising player, linked with big clubs, won YPOTM recently.

 

Tbf Muff have probably already noticed him. One thing they're very good at is hoovering up young talent from the lower leagues and getting the best out of them.

 

With Holebas and Ake in our current squad we are in the enviable position of being able to buy him and let him stay at Walsall on loan. A situation they may well appreciate.

 

Gosh that's a plan, but surely we would want him to be coached and integrated by our team?

 

That was in the old days. Now they just chase after whoever we want & throw money at them.

 

Very bizarre. Fired up Football Manager this morning shortly after reading this thread, to have Chris McGuane go behind my back and make an offer for this chap. 15 Acceleration, 15 Pace and 14 Work Rate at the age of 17. It's a Yes from me.

 

Gosh there's sarcasm, if we are buying him with an eye to the future, it's better he continue to get game time, in a familiar environment, and get regular reports/updates on him.So after a full pre-season he would be ready for next season if we don't sign Ake or if Holebas leaves.

 

Hmm not sure I like the idea of a player who can't get his first and last names the right way round. How is he going to cope with soomething more challenging like tactics?

I think your thinking of Perry Barr, he was from Sandwell west of Walsall

 

Interesting write up about him in their local paper. Claiming we have scouted him along with Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and Leicester. They state our interest in him is very real and at the moment we're the favourites to sign him. Walsall would like him immediately loaned back for the rest of the season and they will only sell him to a Premiership team.

 

Have a word with them AndrewH63 because when I suggested this, you were straight on my back.

 

What's the point of signing this player? Surely we will be looking at big, big players in the summer and this chump plays for Walsall.
