So Kevin Rowlands' niece calls him Uncle Kevin? So called celebrities like Rowlands are always looking for new ways of drawing attention to themselves and this is just typical of the sort of stunt they dream up to get some cheap publicity. The fact that he has involved his niece in his scheme shows what a shameless chancer the bloke is.

 

It might be a good year to sell something which you would pay capital gains tax on, as you’d be able to offset it.

Don`t go there - that liability is insignificant compared to Mrs H`s reaction when she saw the letter quizzing me about how much I had lost on the investment.

A meal out and a new frock later, ouch.....(and I find these don`t even count as allowable capital losses).

Incidentally I see Graham Simpson received ten times more compensation for his and Yianna`s holdings, so at least he will avoid `a domestic` as he won't have received the letter.

In some way the stories of the lost investment from shareholders is a microcosm of what it must be like to actually own a club. You put your money in and you lose it in most cases. At least these shareholders who put their money in to help the club, dont have to put up with everyone thinking and saying that your an idiot (apart from our wives) and all the vitriol that comes with owning a club. We really must Give Gino a Break. Imagine how much stick his wife gives him.
