Realistic Signings from/for the Championship Even though there has been quite abit of threads about who we think we should buy and stuff.I decided I would start a thread about who think would be realistic signings next season for the championship. Also what realistic cahmpionshp signings would you like to see at the Vic. My list of players I would possibly like: Rohan Ricketts-Wolves-£350,000 Chris Porter-Oldham-£500,000 Lee Holmes-Derby-£750,000 Matty Jarvis-Gills'-850,000 P.S these players are just a thought
They are young and probably egar to improve but we already have a few midfielders I feel like Williams and Williamson who would make a good impression. Now if Mahon and Francis were to leave that might change ofcourse.
Would like to see Billy Sharp (he will be CCC next year). We should have signed him rather than Hoskins in the first place. Perhaps we can swop them.
I have heard that Wolves have told Rohan Ricketts that he can leave. Could get him for on cheap but yet again its another midfielder.
Ricketts is just another average midfielder that we don't need whilst Porter is abit of a risk and too unproven for my liking. Not sure about Holmes but i've only heard good things about Jarvis.
Would just like to add a couple more to the list Dong Fangzhuo-Man U-Loan Gerard Pique-Man U-Loan Lee Martin-Man U-Loan P.S I dont mean we should get all of these but any of them would be good to keep the partnership of Fergie and Aidy.
What partnership ?? He let us keep Foster for an additional season and that's it, i wouldn't call it a partnership. The chinese guy has already been out on loan for at least 2 seasons gaining a work-permit in Belgium so i doubt he'll be going to the championship whilst Pique by all accounts will be on the fringes of Manure's first team next season.
I was replying to the fact that you said we only got Ben Foster on loan since Aidy's not that we should get him.
Rangers secure Ricketts loan deal QPR have signed Wolves midfielder Rohan Ricketts on loan while allowing defender Zesh Rehman to temporarily move to Brighton. Ricketts, 24, who has also played for Arsenal and Tottenham, is available for the last eight games of the season. QPR boss John Gregory said: "I've always liked Rohan as a player and it's a good opportunity for him." Rehman, 25, has made 25 starts this term but has the chance for more first teams action at the Withdean Stadium.
QPRahahaha/league one sounds about his level, couldn't cut it at Spurs or Arsenal academy and did little at Wolves.
Another one too the list: James Coppinger-Doncaster-£500,000 Just incase you dont know about him he plays Right Wing,Left Wing,Behind the Striker and up front
He's the guy that got released from Newcastle. A good league one player but nothing more. Especially not at 500K.
He has played 32 games and scored 4 goals, and in his whole career he has played 163 games and scored 27 goals
