Not sure about that. Always thought R3 balls were alphabetical - hence we’re always 40ish. Then the clubs getting through from R2 make up 45 to 64. Then subsequent rounds are the order your previous tie was draw out. So Ball 1 for R4 was the winner of Preston v Huddersfield, Ball 2 was the winner of Middlesbrough v Brighton etc etc.

Uncle Ron is the footballing equivlant of a Twitter Flat Earther .

Im all for criticism and freedom of expression and don’t disagree with some of what he says but the guy doesn’t go to matches , rarely watches or listens to them as far as I can tell and clearly has an agenda that he rams down peoples throats at every opportunity.

People like him give a bad name to the largely positive phenomenon of social media .

 

I see Dendonkey has been involved in another late penalty incident that resulted in his team being bounced out of the FA Cup.

I'm on twitter and whilst not following Uncle Ron he does appear on my timeline and he is typical of those that push their opinion as far to the right/left as he possibly can to get comments/retweets etc whilst not knowing what he's talking about is true or not. I also strongly dislike abuse towards specific people/players, name calling and then tagging them in completely unnecessarily.

 

I also don’t agree with with tagging players to tweets, but on the subject of abuse, Uncle Ron gets more abuse than any other fan on twitter from other Watford fans. I guess he threatens those who have a strange Pozzo belief system, and they can’t help lashing out.

 

He's a massive attention seeker.

 

Watching our academy kids look mostly out of their depth is a nice reminder of what a talent we have in Asprilla. Same age, but just a completely different level.

Just got back from the game.

'Heartbroken' doesn't do my feelings to this result justice. To be dumped out of the cup to one of our biggests rivals is mortifying.

Absolute trash from those players, many of whom I hope to never see in a yellow shirt again, be it ours or anyone else's.

Oh well, we go again.
