No, he's out on loan at the moment, but I believe there is a break clause in his loan contract. Apparently there is a possibility that he can get a work permit in January and it has been mooted on here that if he does we will probably invoke that break clause and bring him back in house. FYI, if you don't already know, he is supposed to be a **** hot striker Also the young lad who is joining WFC in January looks like a **** hot striker from the videos I've seen of him. Furthermore despite his youth I would not be surprised if Vlad brought him straight into the first team squad, because Vlad has a history of blooding young players, as he apparently thinks if they are good enough players they're old enough, and this kid looks a more than good player, at least on the video I've seen of him. And before you ask I don't know a link for it.
Toure isn't likely to get a work permit any time soon. Unless he's got British or EU citizenship somewhere in the pipeline he ain't he coming in January.
My starting lineup: Foster, Ngakia, Cathcart, Troost-Ekong, Wilmot, Sema, Cleverly, Garner, Chalobah, Quina, Sarr, JP Try and tell me we wouldn't run all over reading with that side. I'll wait.
Unchanged from Luton if we can. Wouldn't bring Troost Ekong in yet, nobody has a clue how good he is so no point when we look solid as it is.
There are videos to be seen of him playing, both for club and country. I presume they are promotional videos. As I watched them it occurred to me how difficult it must be to produce a promo vid for a defender: Cue lots of long shots of a big solid man tackling an attacker and then making a sensible accurate pass forwards. He looked pretty good at it, as a matter of fact, although, of course, we don't know the quality of the opposition. Mostly he was employed as a last-line defender, playing slightly behind the others. He has been capped 42 times by Nigeria.
I watched their every game this season because they have a Serbian head coach and I would say they do press a lot. They liked to have a lot of possession when it's 0-0 and when they scored their first goals they defended and hit the opposition on the break. If we score the first goal I'm 100% sure we'll win. With Swift, Yiadom, Araruna and potentially Joao and Ejaria out we should be favorites. Also we should look out for their set-pieces. Olise has excellent delivery and they already scored 3 set-piece goals this season. Their head coach is excellent in that department as well, our youth national teams were always dangerous on set-pieces.
Easy TVOR, he's just yanking your chain with typo of "Coucho" you wrote than "Cucho" which is the actual spelling.
Predict a 2-2 draw. Sarr o.g (10) and gives away a penalty (32). Sinclair (89, 95). Confusing game for COGs and Betwetters. Head Wobblers ftw.
Could be a pitchwetter contest. Looks like the match will be going ahead as scheduled. Won't suit us as much with our touch players. Hopefully the players put on the correct studs for this. It's a fairly modern stadium so should be fine in all other respects and no rain forecast during the game.
That is a young midfield. In fact, not much experience across the whole team (Old Man Foster brings the average up a bit though). 3-0 'orns, Sarr brace and a Chalobah rocket.
We are going to miss Sema and Clevrley. Hopefully Dele-Bashiru and Femenia can step up. I'm a bit surprised Dele Bashiru is starting rather than Quina as Quina seemed to be one of our most important players in pre-season. Although I really liked Dele-Bashiru against Luton. Reading have Joao on the bench while Swift, Ejaria, Yiadom and Araruna all missing.
Who’d have thought this time last season we’d look at a Watford lineup and consider Cleverley and Sema as big misses. Fair play to both of them. We will find it harder without them today. Very inexperienced midfield without Cleverley, but I’m glad Chalobah has a chance to build on the solid performance he put in last week. Big chance for TBD, who has shown flashes of quality, but it’s a big step-up from cameo roles to starting in a tough game. Sarr and Pedro should give us enough to win this.
So we line up like this? Foster Ngakia Cathcart Wilmot Kabasele Femenia Chalobah Dele-Bashiru Man U Loanee Sarr Pedro
