Queens Park Rangers have confirmed that the club has made a bid for Blackpool defender Kaspars Gorkss. The fee is undisclosed, but is believed to match the player's buy-out clause in his contract of £250,000. Watford are also rumoured to be keen on signing Gorkss, however QPR's offer remains the only confirmed bid. Iain Dowie is also interested in Wes Hoolahan in an attempt with a £375,000 bid.
