how do I send them, use it etc? do I need to be on yahoo ir something?

and also where is the glossary thingy with all the explanations for all the acronyms are?

when you used to come on here it used to say if you had any private messages and it has gone now?! or was I just imagining it?

yeah i remember them, i sent one to admin shortly after i joined asking him to look at my thread after i had changed something. don't know if he got it?

 

If' you've got one it'll come up top right under your welcome username thingey. Not sure how to send them though.

OK then, lets have a lesson!

Click once on my username (admin)
From the menu that appears click on "Send Private Message"
Fill in a title, then some text and send it to me
When I get it I'll reply
When I reply you'll see that you have 1 private message in the top right hand box, the one that says Welcome (username).

When you see that there's a message there it will appear in bold. Click and read. Reply, delete or send one to someone else.

Another way to send a private message is to goto the Members List in the top menu bar, click on Admin and you get a whole host of what you can do to me

One final way to send a PM is to go to your own user CP, again from the menu bar, and you can PM from there.

Play, you won't break anything, but whatever happens please don't be afraid to ask even the most simple of questions. Now what acronyms would you like to know?

When I imported over from SMF software it just flagged the amount of PM's you could receive at 0, so it was never on for anyone but me. Should be working just fine now[/humble_apology]

 

I now have the little message about private messages back again. just sent you one to see if it works.
