Nooo! I want to see him given a proper chance to develop and blend in here.

I wouldn't want to see him leave, personally believe he will become a great player for Watford given the right service and not hoofball.

But a silly amount of dosh - then we probably couldn't say no and maybe the player himself would want to go to a bigger club. If it is true that Stuttgart are really interested the Tamas doubters will be happy.

He is a young lad from a foreign country and needed last season to settle and was in a team not good enough for the league they were in, this season I am confident he will knock enough goals in to warrant him respect as a footballer.

If HH or another experienced striker was to boufght then that would be a differet matter as Tamas wouldn't be given a starting opportunity too often and would become frustarted in which case it wold be better all round for him to be sold.

Tamas Priskin - A Wanabe legend.

I too believe Tamas has the potential to be a good player. Had King not got injured then the pressure would not have been too great on him to early.

If we get offered silly dosh then we will sell, but I would be disappointed to know that he really didn't get a fair crack here. As Paddy has said, if we continue to play hoofball then Tamas will not have the chances to show what he can do. We need to see more of the sort of thing we saw when he came on against City at home, running between defenders and finishing sweetly a good pass from Rinaldi.

I can't see Tamas being given a run in the team unless he develops more of a work ethic. I know that the service we gave him last season was totally unsuitable for a player like him, but he never really gave me that feeling that he would bust a gut and chase a game when we had our backs to the wall. I'm sure Aidy will have seen his workshy tendencies and will be telling him to address this. If Tamas shows the willing and shows that he is prepared to run his @rse off, then he definitely has the ability to get a good goals total. It's all down to his attitude now.

But Hendo, Kabba and to an extent Hammer B do not always appear to be chasing for every ball with full commitment. Maybe they are under orders to concerve energy where its less than 50/50 chance of winning the ball thus making it appear they are lazy and not trying.

I just don't see it in Priskin. He shows glimses of brilliance and then moments of lazyness and sloppyness.

Personally i think he needs to many touches and time and am not convinced he will make it in the rough tough Championship

A decent run may do him good, but I can't see who he will replace.

If someone offered us £1m plus i would take it.

Prisken is an excellent finisher, all he needs is a good run in the side,2 seasons ago I would have never even have thought that Bouazza would have been a regular in our side and was generally poor.

But given that run he has shown what he is capable of,and Prisken can do the same.

With the right service from Rinaldi and not Mahon. He could be class.

Hopefully he can speak ok English now, settled into the country, the standard of football will be lower so maybe we can expect quite a few goals next season.

How reliable is this source I wonder?

I like Priskin, he gets stuck in, he is willing to take defenders on and he's good in the air. He certainly isn't the finished article though and he does need to develop as he should do because of his age. My only slight concern is the number of times he is offside which he needs to sort out (again should improve with experience).

I hope we can keep Priskin I rate him,

Being a Stuttgart fan myself I can't see him fitting in their, I mean, Tamas in the Champions League, I think not, not yet anyway.

There have been lots of times when he has been caught offside when he should have been able to hold his run, but I like strikers who play off the shoulder of the last defender. As I remember UEA commenting on a while ago King had the most offsides in the league by a mile the season we were promoted. Inzaghi is someone else who does similar to excellent effect and who I think Priskin shares a lot of similarities with (not the fastest, plays off the shoulder, tall and thin, doesn't create much for himself, excellent finisher if given the chance, good in the air).

I would be very disappointed if we sold him before giving him another season to show his worth, because he clearly has a lot of potential if it can be utilised.

I'd also be disappointed if we sold him!

I think given a run in the team he'd score alot at this level!

Although sounds like he's happy here which is a good thing!

I have seen absolutely none of this.

I can count on one hand the amount of times he has actually chased a ball, and I cannot remember a single meaningful challenge. He is lazy, has slow reactions, does not win possesion and does not use possesion well.

    BUT.

I understand it is unfair to single out players (except Kabba) on the basis of last season, and so a clean slate is given as of now.

If he comes back willing to take on the physical side, puts himself about and generally stops being a gormless layabout, there is no reason why he cannot be very good, as he has some very good touches. I will be 100% behind him if he puts the effort in, as that is all you can ask.

However, give me anything avbove the £1m mark and we should take it and run.

IMO Tamas still has alot to learn but has obvious potential. Players like him are the future of the club and unless a very high offer were to come in I would definitely keep him as his value will only rise and rise.

Against CCC teams I believe he will do well.

Munich - the VfB Stuttgart Tamas Priskin of the English first league-decliner FC Watford is interested obviously at an obligation of the Hungarian national striker. Priskin (r.) was not able to prevent the descent of the FC Watford the confirmed Priskins adviser Ferenc F*lop of the "Stuttgarter newspaper". Aggressors old the first 20 years wants obviously unconditionally to the Swabias in order to be able to play in the coming season in the champions League. Ewerthon-transfer becomes more probable the VfB that Priskin first of all only wants to loan, yet the transfer modality must clarify with Watford to be sure. Meanwhile an obligation of the Brazilian aggressor Ewerthon becomes increasingly more probable. The negotiations with Ewerthons club actually Saragossa go presently into the hot phase. Poschner confidently "we already are advanced, between the presentations of both societies lie no more worlds", said Ewerthons adviser Gerhard Poschner. After the Spaniards first of all ten million Euro would remove demanded had for the earlier national league-pro of Borussia Dortmund, clears itself between the club now a unification in approximately Six Million Euro on.

Stuttgart are interested in signing Watford striker Tamas Priskin.

The 21-year-old Hungary international impressed for Watford last year and, according to his agent, Ferenc Fulop, is a target for the Bundesliga winners as well as an unnamed Greek side.

"I know the German champions made contact with Watford last week in the case of Tamas Priskin," he told Nemzeti Sport.

"The player is contracted to the club, so one should agree with his club first, but Watford stand in his way.

"Recently a Greek team made a good offer to get him, but they were unyielding at the English club. It seems they would let him go only for a big amount of money."

However, Priskin has already set his sights on a return to the Premier League and says he is happy to remain at Vicarage Road.

"All I know are those things that my manager, Ferenc Fulop, told me," Priskin told Nemzeti Sport.

"Here in Watford, nobody told me a single word about any approach of Stuttgart.

"Honestly, I don't really care about this because we've already started the preparations for next season and I want to help Watford.

"If my manager relies on me then I won't leave."

Which to be honest - I think is fair enough. He is succesful with his national team, he has big clubs scouting him - he wants a chance at a starting berth. Fair enough in my eyes. That said - it does not mean he is a given first choice for the second berth up front. He has to earn it through his performances.

I think we have two good young strikers in Priskin and Hoskins - both of whom deserves a chance up front. But I fear Aidy will either buy someone lese not particularly good (Kabba mkII) or stick with Hendo nomatter what.

if priskin goes to stuttgart it will be impossible for him to play regularly, no chance against cacau+gomez, but he's a young player

would be good for watford's future

I think it's important we keep him. Granted, I was one of those who were skeptical of him at a point last season but he started to show glimpses during the last few games of the season which suggested he may have been acclimatising.

Given a fair crack next season I think he'll score his fair share of goals. Not saying he's an instant 20-goal striker but he seems to know how to finish, which can only be good.

What remains to be seen is how much of a chance AB will give him next season when you consider how many strikers we have.
