My mate used to have a Dreamscape rave tape pack, one of which had an MC on it who did a shout out to the "Preston Worm Crew". No idea if they are still in business (Dreamscape or the Preston Worm Crew).
The House of Love: Maybe Preston in the winter. Drinking in the night, the cold, English night. And there's a figure, he's so evil. It's even the right season but I don't really understand the reference to David Pleat.
Great write up liked for the enthusiasm loved for Georgi Chaka Kahn Player analysis spot on , for me the disappointment of the season is Louza and the surprise of the season is probably Livermore or Kayembe. If Martins comes on as sub he needs to do something useful this time, he is a tricky little ******* but holds on to the ball too long. and as you say say come on Georgi Chaka Kahn, time to show us your quality Will be in Egypt watching this wifi permitting , come on the orns
Surely the winner, one of her X-rated efforts... Donna Summer - Down, Deep Inside (Theme from 'The Deep') - YouTube When we hit our 5th this afternoon, I'll kick off an unseasonal chant of "Walking in a Summer Wonderland" in the Bill Shankly stand. You Orns!
"Under the Preston", a great song and unfortunately true at present, though "we can still catch Preston...and Brentford".
Bayo for Raj? Welcomed change perhaps. Martins gets a start finally too. EDIT: Also, we are playing without a RB?
Not following this at all - unless it’s Sema left back and Lewis right back???? Or TDB straight in at right back??
In a way it's quite good to see us freshen things up a bit. The team has had a fair few games recently and it could help us to shake off that narrow defeat. Sierralta has been overdue a return to CB and Bayo has also deserved another chance at a start. As I mentioned before, I thought TDB would be the most likely potential emergency fill-in for Andrews at RB with Ngakia out and that looks to be the case here. Martins has also needed more minutes, albeit he has to do with a RW spot which I don't think is his favoured side. In general our right flank has been much weaker than our left this season, so it'll be interesting to see how it performs today, despite neither player being in their preferred position. Hopefully trying those two out here could also suggest we may be considering whether to bring in another RB and RW in the January window. Imo those are the two most obvious positions for us to strengthen.
Exactly. It does seem VI is all about trying to shut PNE out, but that is a much more defensive line up than I was expecting.
Isn't it the same formation but with TDB at RB and Bayo, Martins in for Raj and Porteous? Not sure its necessarily much more defensive.
Perhaps, but that is just as I view it. One thing is for sure, at least we are playing a striker who can create a chance on his own rather than stand it the six yard box. I was worried Ince might start but thankfully VI saw how much he contributed on Tuesday.
