Hi there guys, Preston fan here.

I just want to wish you guys all the best for tonight, although we have to nbeat you, nothing less.

Expect to face a determined side tonight, we will be up for the fight, we really need this win.

Who would you say your best players are? Graham? And what did you make of Ellington?

Here is a match preview from a Preston perspective if you're interested. Feel free to join in the discussion by commenting on the article with predictions and thoughts on the game etc.

  2. The 'lowlier' the team we play, the worse we seem to play, so you might be in luck.

As for Ellington, if you've taken him out of the packet, I'm afraid we can't give you a refund. All sales are final. Sorry.

(don't think he can play tonight, worst luck)

We seem to enjoy losing to **** teams, so enjoy your 3 points!

I don't mind Preston as a club, just can't stand that orange **** in charge. Hoping we'll scrape the win and try and find some kind of form for the rest of the month.

Having read your preview, I'm glad to hear that Hume is out. I've always thought he is a decent player. Interesting to see that Ellington has been one of your few 'positives recently'.

We need to 'steady the ship' and despite your need for 3 points I think you'll probably turn up looking to stop our attacking players first and foremost. Unfortunately, and despite the number of goals we tend to score and concede, i think this game might buck the trend. 0-0. (Having made that prediction it will obviously now end up 5-4)

Maybe because my PC is cursed with little bugs and cookies, I can't get to your link , I end up in the Amazon.

Oh BTW this is a game that we definatly can lose ,dont leave early as we are in one of our self destruct runs.

I don't think the lump can play, just as well.

And in response to the other posts, it is true, Ellington has been great for us since his arrival. I am quite surprised he wasn't wanted at your club, but i'm not complaining.

Thank you to the fan also who left a comment beneath the article; it would be great if others could follow suit and get a real discussion going before the game.

As for Iain Hume we have really been missing him while he's been out and will do so again tonight. All of these injuries are coming at the wrong time, not that there is a right one..

    Thanks again anyway,

    Nick

Is Ellington eligible to play in this match? I think not but I could be wrong.

Agreed. He cannot play in either game with PNE according to the loan deal.

Glad Ellington has been good for you as he was dire for us. Think he may have hit a post twice but cant remember much else. Think I would have had more satisfaction pouring £4m (or so) down the drain than watching him.

Dont mind Preston I would like to see them escape relegation but I cant really see this happening to be honest, Our best player well Graham has got 19 goals this season but Buckley is very dangerous , And Ellington what a waste of money absolute dog s**t, I honestly see you with a chance tonight we usualy dont perform that great against teams near the bottom and we have been on a bit of a slide recently but we are creating lots of chances tho !

Great club with a genuine history more so than many of the jumped up Premier***** shitbags who seem to think they are more important than football itself.

Suspect their fans are feeling pretty sick now!

That game probably summed up their league position..

In totaly control and let us gain a point from no-where.
