An unknown Premiership club are thought to be keen to invite Lyn starlet Chinedu Ogbuke for a trial. The Nigerian striker was all set for a move to Lokomotiv Moscow this month before the Russians pulled out of the deal at the last moment. A January switch remains on the cards for the 20-year-old, who has been linked with some of Europe's top clubs in the past. One Premiership side are keen to take a look at Ogbuke before putting in a bid, and Lyn coach Henning Berg concedes the youngster could still leave. "Sporting-wise, it's an advantage to have him here, but there are still some weeks left of the transfer window," Berg told TV2. "There are still many clubs who are interested in him." Could this be us maybe?
it may be, but it looks like we've got other players lined up, sounds expensive too: "has been linked with some of Europe's top clubs in the past."
he certainly does. If you include our strikers and strikers on trial we nearly have as many as sheffield united.
I have found that it is rumoured it is Arsenal http://www.soccer.com/blog/2006/09/ogbuke_set_for_arsenal_in_janu.blog
