Pre-season 2021/22

If the club try and pull the same stunt as last season and not announce the starting line ups for friendlies then I'm kicking off. Piss poor from them so far, we haven't even had a video of Pollock's first day where he struggles to understand the coaching staff's instructions in Spanish.

We beat Millwall 3-2 in a behind closed doors friendly today. Fletcher scored twice ( ) and Quina also bagged.

 

You all thought I was joking about Fletch.

I think it's that pre-season belief and optimism, but watching his highlights video I did think he looked a possible decent signing. Probably have that feeling shattered by September though.

 

Thanks for posting, if anyone has access to the team could they post it please. Anyone know why the club don't post about friendlies? Can't imagine it's giving too much away to our league opponents?

So Fletcher only scored once. It's still a goal and he's still brilliant.

 

Club have now said Masina scored one of the goals Millwall credited to Fletcher.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was Foster. He let some YouTubers score against him.

 

He was named in the match report, though I don't know if it was him who conceded the goal! Is Bachmann back to playing after the Euros?

 

Yeah Bachmann is back training. But we also have Dahlberg and Elliot. Either way conceding a header from the edge of the box isn't what you want to hear from any of them...

 

Surely Navarro and Perica will have got the message from this.
Reminds me of Espen Baardsen and being picked to play Chesham in a pre-season friendly.

There was a trialist who played the first half that could have been him. Whoever it was he was rapid but pace was his only real attribute, he gave the ball away countless times.

 

To be fair to Foster his cycling GK video made the YouTube stars look miles better than they were. Chris MD posted the less edited version and they scored around 5 shots each out of 100.
