    Don't know if anyone was just watching Newsnight but Emily Maitlis just announced Mancini's sacking at Manchester City and I quote "In the wake of their FA Cup final defeat to Watford".

    They've even got us winning the FA Cup now! Let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet. Give it 3 seasons maybe :)

    There's nothing they can do. The only point I felt they were entirely useless was at the end of the match when people were being encouraged to get back into the stands so the players could come back out. A load of numpties in the Lower Rous nearest the Rookery blocked the main aisle and the bit where the wall is lowest so they could be next to the pitch for when the players returned. That made it nigh on impossible for more than 1 person at a time to get back into the stand. All it would have needed was a steward or two to move the numpties but no they just stood and gawped.

    Naturally, the focus here in Copenhagen was on Schmeichel losing out on his promotion chance. (The yellow story teaser in the screen drop below - Translation: 'Commentator goes mental after Schmeichel defeat'.)
    It made me immensely happy to see a Watford story in Danish news - and hearing praise of the goal from friends without force feeding them YouTube clips. Watford in our sports pages = VERY rare!

    I was in the Rookery looking at Schmeichel having a party when Leicester won the penalty - Ohhh the karma when, seconds later, he flapped helplessly past the flight path of Deeneys shot!!
