Yawn! There are too many 'Watford' fans getting their views aired in place of proper Watford fans. Where do the media (BBC, TalkSport, Sky Sports et al) find these morons? I've not heard one fan who I know supports Watford and has done through thick and thin ask for Aidy to be sacked.

 

Whats to say he's a WFC fan. I could call up claiming to be a scummer and call for Mike Fool to be sacked.

IMO he got us into the premiership prematurely.. and in spectacular style.. to sack him because he cant do another miracle by way of keeping us up there when he couldnt get anyone to sign that could score goals is incredibly stupid.
As far as I am concerned IF we get relegated his job is safe.. the only thing that would get me to say sack him at the moment would be if things went completely wrong and he took us to league 1.. and i cant see that happen.. not even the fool pooalli could manage that.. though he gave it a damn good try!
This moron on Talksport or whatever hasnt got a clue and I think was probably one of the few we were fortunate NOT to inherit from the OMB

I understand your point.. but that was one result... the way he has conducted himself and what he has done with the team during the countless other games is very impressive... with the squad we have we should have been slaughtered by Manure early season and we werent.. in fact we have only had 2 or 3 thrashings.. which given that some of the top teams have single players with values in excess of our entire starting line up is rather impressive... we should have lost many more games than we have given the resources.
That and bad refereeing (early season for sure) Aidey has still done magnificently.. all bar the Sheff UTD fiasco.

He should stay because his appointment was a long term idea not a quick fix. We wern't expecting to be promoted last season and in the grand scheme of things it probably came too early in terms of the football side. Yes it'll do wonders for the finances but Boothroyd is here for the long term and is building a young team full of potential.
He underestimated the gulf in ability from championship to premiership and the lack of investment in quality showed that.

Every team goes through bad patches and runs of losing games (especially when punching above their weight) and this should mean instant dismissal for the manager. If your idea james of the manager shouldn't stay if a side keeps losing then there would be managerial casualties every week and that would be ridiculous.

Boothroyd isn't going anywhere anytime soon and the reason he should stay is that he'll hopefully build a squad capable of getting a foothold in the premierleague. For that to happen to a club of our size would be momentous.
