Good luck to Juan Carlos - please let's not forget the part he played in getting us promoted. Put in some tremendous performances and I read plenty of posts on other team's boards praising and coveting a fullback like him.

My abiding memory of him will be him belting down the touchline with his locks flowing.

A shame he didn't really make the step up to the Prem, but he leaves with my sincere thanks for a job well done and best wishes for the future.

I wish him all the best but I think you're being a little kind.

He was a very 'meh' player in my opinion and had as many cr*p games as good ones.

He wasn't really consistently good enough for our XI in the Championship, let alone the PL.

Never been a fan of Paredes, even in the championship I thought he was our weakest link. Happy to see him leave. I'm sure Djedje will be more than adequate as replacement

 

What I want to know was who that throw was aimed at in the first place

However he did have a brilliant first game of the season against Bolton weren't it then thought we've got someone special here, that worked out well didn't it

 

I did like how indignant Blind looked afterwards, moaning to the ref. Mate, you jumped up to try and block the throw, now you're cheesed off because you succeeded?

 

Think Blind was trying to jump over it, I'd have ducked myself.

Yes an absolutely amazing debut, I don't really remember seeing a much better one!
