There could actually be something in it. Plays for the same club that we have loaned our very own Jorge Segura out to, who is also a CB. Like for like maybe? We give them a 24 yr old Colombian with no future, and in return we get Ortiz who is 21, 6’3, left footed and was linked with Dortmund, Anderlecht etc 6-12 months ago.

Absolute reeks of a player who will join the 'network'. You'd think his teammate Segura will tell him to stay well clear.

 

He's interesting a club in Italy too. But we must know all about considering we have a loan player at the club. It's not as if we don't need a CB. Especially a left footer.

 

Sadly what we need is someone who is clearly better than Kabasele and Cathcart. This guy would surely not be seen as in the mix for a PL spot immediately.

 

Maybe they think he already is better than them.

Seems promising in these highlights, decent pace, strong, and excellent leap.

He's also left-footed, for what it's worth.

We certainly could do with some extra aerial presence at the back, and he can speak Spanish with Sierralta, though they may be a bit inexperienced as a pairing.

We could certainly do with another CB though.

 

Really need another quality CB. Can't have Cathcart or Kabasele playing regularly, and we're only 1 injury away from that

 

I doubt it with the post-Brexit regulations regarding South America!

 

He's played a few times in the Copa Libertadores recently so I don't think so.

Would be a good addition. A highly rated Colombian CB, left footed, only 21, affordable......lots to like here. Would add much needed competition to the central defense.

We get this guy in and another central midfielder, assuming Hughes leaves of course, then I think we've had a pretty decent transfer window.

Will we storm the league? Probably not, but we should have enough to avoid the bottom three. If we do stay up, then it would have been a genius transfer window. Currently only a net spend of only around £5m is pretty impressive, although might be £2m more if we signed Kucha, instead of it being just a loan.

 

I know nothing about him but he’s a good age and I would like a left-footed CB. If he doesn’t cost too much then I’d like us to sign him - I will then fully convince myself he’s the next Baresi.

 

I've heard he's the next Baresi.

Unless he goes to Palace, then he's the next Phil Jones.
