One month striker loan?

Why absurd? - would you rather work out in 4 games that we could have done with another striker to make the formation work - or perhaps anticipate the problem - if Ighalo plays and gets a knock or gets crocked in training - who is next - if Uche was fit i would not have started the thread - but he ain't and only goalies can be recalled on standard (not emergency) loans so Ranegie is gone till Jan

 

Oh come off it, old git! Your pessimism is astonishing and I for one will not have it.

This is a striker who I believe has an average just shy of 3 league goals a season, including 5 in the second Spanish division!

To say we need to bring in another striker is absurd, and you know it.

 

Can't agree. We played a loan striker in 2012/2013; Vydra was exciting and he scored a lot of goals en-route to the Championship Player of the Season award.

 

Hindsight is great - so i sincerely hope i am not saying "i told you so" in the middle of October!

 

If deeney had left ighalo would have been the main man. Of course he should now get a run while troy is out. If we're not giving him a chance now then we may as well tin him.

 

Tis a shame Ikpeazu isn't fit, looked a good player on loan at Crewe. And yes it would be th,rowing him in the deep end but it's a perfect oppurtunity for a young striker.

 

We played 352. Vydra might have dropped deep, but he was still a striker.

Trouble is - his opportunity is now - not in a month - he needs at least that with no preseason
