Was on trial with us but has now signed http://www.wdsport.co.uk/2016/03/watford-sign-nigerian-striker-ola-adeyemo/
All very good now, but what happens when the ACORN comes around? Even our under 21s are going to be unable to name a full squad. We need to sign players from European countries.
You say that but what happens when Europe joins Africa at the end of the 2088/89 season? We better hope that the robot revolution leads to a couple of decent defenders.
On the surface doesn't sound too promising, being released by Dundee United then Leyton Orient, and he's not exactly a youngster at 21 either. But he's been with the club for a while now, so must have something about him. It's only a one year deal, so it's an opportunity for the lad...nothing more. If he takes it and develops, then it could be seen as a shrewd piece of business. Let's face it, it's zero risk. I hope he makes it and good luck to him.
Presumably he's just here as a ringer for the U21s? Bolsters a pretty young squad for a small outlay. I can't imagine he's here to compete for a first team spot but suppose you can never say never.
Maybe Jakubiak is getting bumped up to the first team squad and they needed a short term replacement Maybe.
No idea whether he meant it as a joke or not but had to laugh either way as it was such a ridiculous thing to say. Unless he truly believes that success for us can only be measured by winning a cup or finishing top 4. Bit like Charlton fans being delighted when curbishley left as he'd been unable to "take them to the next level".
You know you're big time when you sign players for no reason other than adding numbers to the U21 squad.
