We are now quite seriously over subscribed with foriegn imports, so who do you think won't be making the 25 man squad, and will we be able to off load any of them on a loan or permenant deal? Any suggestions?
Pereyra possibly won't make the squad Iggy, Guedioura, Paredes, Arlauskis, Pantilimon could all leave
I think realistically we need to ditch most of this lot to have much of a chance of anything this season.
I would imagine Parades would be kept on the staff. Not making up the 25, but his pace must be useful when retrieving all Ighalos shots which wind up in Arsenal's training ground.
Also Djedje or whatever - he is 'fitish' now and likely will be in squad for Millwall. Outside bet of foreign players to leave - Capoue and or Kabasele. I would be upset if Dacoure gets loaned out now; lastly Pareyra - we haven't really been told any likely return date so he may not be selected in the 25 but should he make a recovery sooner could play a cup game in the later stages.
I think we are 1 foreign CB over, my choice to go would be Kaboul but I can never see that happening. More likely Kabasele would go out (on loan to Udinese?), and Dje Dje would take his RWB spot. Given that I would pick Doucoure ahead of Gueds everytime, I wouldn't be upset to see the latter go - though I'm not sure who would take him. I've got a slightly uneasy feeling we wont sell Ighalo.
These are the non home grown players on the club books. I make it 22, so we need to exclude 5. Gomes, Zuniga, Djedje, Kabasele, Kaboul, Ighalo, Prodl, Britos, Amrabat, Pantilimon, Okaka, Guedioura, Holebas, Capoue, Behrami, Doucoure, Janmaat, Arlauskis, Paredes, Pereyra, Zarate, Niang. A couple of obvious ones would be Paraedes and Arlauskis. The other three not quite so obvious, although Niang should mean the end for Ighalo. I would love for Watford to offer Pants back to Sunderland in exchange for Pickford plus cash. The other one for me would be Gueds.......although Kaboul & Kabasele shouldn't be feeling too comfortable. Not sure what's happening to Djedje either, so he's a possible one for the chop. I'd like to keep Pererya in the squad, but that may not be possible if the injury is too long term.

Would be disappointed to see Doucoure get dropped from the squad, I think he has done enough to earn a place ahead of Gueds. Dja Djedje is a bit of a strange one. I'm pretty sure I read that he was recommended by Mazzarri, but with Amrabat, Janmaat, Kabasele & Zuniga all playing in the right wing back spot, he could easily be cut. Hopefully we will get a good look at him this weekend.
Incidentally, Niang misses out on being considered an U21 player by just 13 days. That's a bit of bad luck.

Krul, Begovic, & Ron-Robert Zieler apparently are all classed as home grown. Krul & Begovic would push Gomes a lot harder for his first team spot than Pants does.
Which is why we find a competent HG one. Two foreign slots on keepers is too many. Three is ludicrous.

I get the feeling that Pereyra will be left out of the squad. No good wasting a space on a player who may have a chance of returning at the very end of the season when it could be filled by someone fit. The other two, if I were to guess, would be Guediora and Ighalo. Leaving out a CB would put us on 4 for the rest of the season, which is too dangerous even if we stopped playing 3 of them at a time. Ighalo, however, is clearly not top of Mazzarri's list and with Deeney, Sinclair, Okaka, Success, Niang, and Zarate all able to play in his place, it would be pointless to name him in the squad. The only reason I could think of for keeping him in the squad is maintaining some transfer value but if that was the goal he'd have been off by now.
That would be mine but leaves us short in the keeper department. Zuniga instead of Pants although unlikely. I can Dje Dje going out on loan to get some game time which would help
I think Djedje can slot straight in. Only reason he's not playing is because he's not registered I assume? I think he will start vs. Millwall
