I wa son the phone to one of the watford players who is on loan elsewere at the moment and he has told me that there are a few plaers who are all on their way out, one of them being steve Kabba, there are also rumblings of discontent between players who believe that aidy doesnt know what hes doing and quite a few were not happy how clarke carlsile walked straight back in the side.
hoskins and lee williamson will also be on their way as well as they are both "pony" says my source. also some people were unhappy springy was shown the door as he was one of the better midfielders we had.
Marlon King has also said he doesnt want to play championship football anymore so he will be going.

i dont want to reveal my players name as i dont want him to get into trouble but i have been accurate with my facts before when i told everyone chris powell was going to be our first signing of the season.

    trust me

No great loss if Kabba (when Ben Foster calls you lazy after about 2 weeks at the club you have to wonder about the relationatip with other players!) goes and well King will have to prove his fitness before going to any decent Premiership club I would think but I guess he has ambition.

Is that just an opinon on Hoskins/Williamson from your 'source' or a fact?

You always get some sort of unsettlement when the team does badly or is in trouble (it comes out anyway)

Carlisle got games to get him match fit and if any of the other players cannot see that then so be it but then I guess they all want to play which is no bad thing!

I bet even last season there were problems.

So you know Macca, Blizzard or Jarrett then. I'm not sure any of them would know skill, ability or consistency even if it reared up, slapped them in the face and left a calling card.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kabba left but I simply don't believe Hoskins and Williamson are on the way out. Willo has played really positively for the team recently and Aidy has taken deliberate steps to praise him in the media. Wouldn't really be a shrewd move if you're about to flog him. Undoubtedly Hoskins has struggled to make the grade in the Premiership but having spent nearly £900k on him it makes sense to stick by him given that the Championship could well be nearer his current level.

King may well leave but again, every interview is enthusiastic about the future here and his relationship with Aidy and the fans. He doesn't have to make those comments - no one makes him be so positive, even if they might convince him to comment on the record ;)

As wfc4ever says Carlisle didn't 'walk back into the side' in the traditional way. The fact is the rest of our defence had had 33 games to keep us in the Premiership and had made a pretty poxy job of it. Clarke needed to prove his fitness and like King get some action under his belt before pre-season starts. He didn't walk in because Aidy believes he's an amazing centre back, it was simply a means to an end in my book.

Basically your post is full of 'office politics' (not that I'm shooting the messenger of course). It's just the typical gossip that goes on around the water cooler in any office. And you have to remember that your source, being as he has been frozen out by Aidy, is probably not best placed to give an unbiased opinion.

I doubt that Williamson, Hoskins or King will go. King might I suppose, but I think there is potential to be exploited - potential we paid through the nose for.

Carlisle didn't walk back in the side anyway. He came back in when he was fit because after christmas the Demerit/Shittu partnership went belly up and we had to try and stabilise a sinking ship. And he needed some matches to recover from being out so long anyway.

Bound to be speculation like this, but i agree with the other statements.
    Kabba can go
If one of our loan players thinks Hoskins and Williamson are 'pony' why isn't said player with us and not with a league 1 or 2 side? ;)
King loves Aidy and appears to love the fans. I bet he doesn't want to play in the Championship and hopefully he wont be season after next if we get promotion

Williamson is certainly not 'pony' as everytime I have seen him play I see that he certainly has something to offer us. Hoskins may be 'pony' but until we give him a crack at the Championship I am not going to judge either way.

As for King, I maintain that if like the Ash deal, the price is right, then we shuold sell.

Apart from wasting that chance right at the end Williamson looked pretty good today.

Totally agree, Ref that chance, he should have laid it off for Theo, BUT it was the last minute, he had engineered the move himself, he was in a shooting position, and the outcome of the match didn't make any difference, so I'll forgive him.

Hoskins will be much more effective in the Championship.

    Please let Marlon stay

Carlisle didn't walk back in he had to play for the skummers to get his match fitness

    Kabba is poooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I actually think selling Kabba will feel like signing a new player

I have heard from A Sheff Utd source that "Colin" is after more strikers next season to push the Blades back up.

He has heard that we have a bloke called Kabba and is very interested especially after the last one Webber hit the post.... :]] :]] :]]

I'd be concerned if we sold King, whatever the fee, unless all of it was reinvested into the team, which would be unlikely. It would not be easy to replace King, even with 3/4 million. We could potentially sign a string of dummies for big bucks, trying to fill some big boots. I accept, however, that if King is scoring next term, but we are nowhere near the top spots, then if any established Prem club came in, he would leave. We should try and prevent that scenario tho.

I have to be honest, I will be genuinely devistated if Marlon leaves in the summer.

hope we dont sell king but from all his talk seems he wqont be going thankfully. all this just seems like general *****ing by players who arent good enough to make the first team.

Got to stop this campaign in its tracks.

Given the Collins John saga how on earth would you imagine that we could replace Marlon even with £6-7m in our pockets?

We are not a buying club - we need to make him stay and earn his move. Hopefully if we are challenging he would take a punt on staying with us longer.

There are some players who are very special for their clubs and add more than just their contributions. Marlon is one of those - incredibly hard to replace.

Stop eyeing the cash - what did Ashley's get us? Steve Kabba and a job lot of prospects.

I am optimistic that one day Aidy will find his feet in the transfer market and then we will be able to bring in players that will replace players like Marlon. Coppell at Reading found Kevin Doyle who cost them less than 100k and look what he has done! Bargains are out there, it just depends at how good you are at finding them.

In my opinion we will always be eyeing the cash until we can stick it out in the Prem. Secondly I am also optimistic that if it hadn't been for the Hoofball we play Priskin might have fared a bit better up front and Francis might have achieved a bit more than an aching neck.

In the end, with regards to the Marlon offer, if it is very good then it is possible to find good players. Whether we do or not is not a reflection of the market but unfortunately a reflection of the club's ability to land players.

I was also told by my little watford playing source that there were issues with Hoskins and Williamson and that Aidy didnt actually like them.

Apparently they are far too bigheaded and thought they would be the big cheeses when they arrived.

To be honest - the way Williamson has been playing I can't see him causing any trouble. Hoskins was a big fish in a small pond, ad has to get used to being a squad player in a medium sized pond. It takes some work getting the mind of a young man turned from Big head to humble attitude. But I think Hoskins will learn - I think he'll be a success next season.

sounds like a young player lletting his tounge run away a bit

why would Aidy have made King captain today if he was going to leave ? mind you, as we saw with young..............., every player here has a price.

Pretty whiffy cheese then. Hoskins is pants.

Why do posey lightweights always seem to wear white boots??

I'd make 'em wear black ones always...

seconded. We have the cash in the pot to carry us for the next few years. Let's consolidate our squad and push on. If we have struggled to attract players in the Prem, how would we fare with no King, lanquishing at the foot of the Championship, even if we did have a wheelbarrow of cash. We'd end up panic buying overrated tat, who would fail us, move on and soon we'd be lanquishing in League 1 or worse, remembering the good ol' days.
