My son used to have a magazine round locally. One month they paid the entire staff salaries into my account by mistake. Strangely that news never made it into next months edition.
Just seen this thread. Despaired, instantly thought of advice, saw others had posted said advice, then saw the great outcome. All in the space of a few minutes. Really glad it has been resolved.
Man, what an emotional rollercoaster, and then a happy ending! All the makings of a great Netflix series.
The vast majority of people size their lives to their income. Those with bigger salaries have bigger houses, bigger cars, bigger obligations in general and as a result are living pay period to pay period just like those on a 1/10th of their earnings. The sensible thing to do, of course, is live like someone earning a much lower wage and invest the additional income so you have a nestegg /notable investments and retire much earlier, but most people just aren't wired that way and will spend most of what they earn.
Absolutely. @Clive_ofthe_Kremlin if you send me a processing fee of £2324.44 I'd be happy to pitch it to Netflix. You can even keep 100% of the royalties as I'm such a stand up guy. You'll be an overnight millionaire and Hollywood sensation. I'll PM you my bank details to get the ball rolling.
Glad it's all sorted. Been through similar with small businesses in the past. After seeking advice from all possible sources, it turns out small businesses can get away with pretty much anything. It was only my (hollow) threat of court action that got through to them.
