Nicholls enquiry

I've heard we've made an enquiry on Kevin Nicholls. The source is a mate I work with who's well connected to Luton and knows Nicholls from his Luton days.

Same source that told me about the Spring move two days before it happened.

So our shopping list could look like Robert Earnshaw, Moritz Volz and Kevin Nicholls. Not too shabby. Dont know the keeper just yet though.

Not Nicholls - Have to say I don't really rate him.

Earnie/Volz would be decent buys though.

To be honest I can't see Nicholls wanting to come to Watford. On a purely football basis he wouldn't be the worst midfield signing ever. He'd certainly show Mahon a thing or too about tough tackling, no nonsense fighting spirit in the centre of the park. But he's Luton through and through. I can't see it...

he's better than Mahon. Just a bit of a thug and do we really want ex luton.

I think IF he did join he would win the crowd over as he is tough tackler, plenty of effort and he likes to pass the ball about.
