It takes several hours after they've been blocked for the block to take effect. Stay gay for a few hours yet!

 

I refuse to click on any advert as it adds funds into T-B-i-C's purse.

FYI, all money made by the ads goes directly into funding the forum. I had absolutely no problem paying for it out of my own pocket, and will happily pay for any shortfall that the ads don't meet, on the other hand any money made over actual hosting and licencing will go directly back in the way of cash/prizes next season and/or treating the excellent mods to a good night out.

Every penny, (cent), raised is publicly shown in the moderators area. This forum was not created for gain, but as a direct alternative to the p1ss poor official forums. Any revenue simply guarantees it's future.

I get a lot of German ads because our lines out go via our HQ in Germany. Some are VERY strange

 

Still think they're cack, bring back the old ones!

 

The clicks on these new ones are outperforming the old ones by some distance. It might also be helping that we're getting record visitor numbers due to the playoffs. As soon as clicks decline we'll change them back to the text based ones again, (or the complaints mount ).

 

Out of interest, how much do you make every time somebody clicks on the ad/time spent on the ad?

 

Depends on the ad, nothing else. Some pay $0.50 per click and above, some pay $0.05. Yesterday we had 9 clicks which raised $1.52, another day we can have 5 clicks that raise double that.

We'll never get rich but if the site costs are paid plus a couple of alcoholic evenings and some prize money for forum competitions next season then we'll not be complaining.

 

I keep seeing one telling me where to buy bigger bra's. Just what i needed....
