Why does everyone keep going on about signing released players from all these different clubs? They have all been let go for the simple reason that they are no longer good enough for their current club, so why would they be good enough for us?
depends who they are; Kiraly is a good keeper-not better than Rich Lee, but a good keeper nonetheless...bernard from the barcodes is a good defender, and i'm sure there is the odd bargain to be picked up....
Ive got to agree with nath although there may be one or two that get released or are just out of contract. Maybe they didnt want to resign so they could leave on a Bosman.... or maybe their current club cant afford to offer the same wages..... saying all that, we really need to spend some dough for once. Weve spent the last 100 years picking up freebies, lets go and pay top dollar for once cos I really wanna know how that feels!
You obviously missed my point completely, i meant there's better keepers out there who i'd rather we spent money on than get his guy on a free.
Was going to post something along those lines. There might be some bargains (players that leave because they don't want to sign a new contract) but I don't think Alexander is one of those examples. We want a new keeper who will have an instant impact, and that will probably cost a fair bit of money, the young Wolves keeper looked good today, maybe a bid for him would be worth a go.
That's what I said, completely useless! Seriously, I work with a Cardiff season ticket holder and go to a few games with him and NA is absolutely rubbish.
