So after one Watford game went **** up and i was sacked after 33 games i thought i'd give them another ago, however it wasn't to be and this time i lasted just 31 games and i declared i shant be managing Watford again until FM10

A few days after my sacking i got the Millwall job with the club sitting a few places above the drop zone with about 13 games to go, things started well and i quickly bought James Chester a CB and Sam Baldock (who i signed for Watford) in on loan. We started to move up the table but after a little slump where we went 7 without a win we had slipped into the bottom 4, however 3 wins from our last 4 games saw us survive with relative ease.

Summer signings were mainly free transfers bar making Izale McLeod's move from Charlton permanent for 250K, Emilio Nsue joined from Mallorca for 1K and Tresor Kandol signed for 20K as i looked to revamp my strikeforce. Free transfers were Andy Van Der Meyde, Godwin Antwi a CB from Liverpool, Sam Sodje and Brynjar Gunnarsson, all of whom bar AVDM have been very good signings. 575K was raised through the sales of Lewis Grabban and Cliff Byrne whilst several fringe players left on a free.

I thought we had a good looking squad but alas it wasn't we struggled all season and despite having a comfortable cushion over the drop zone we managed to royally ***** it up in the last few weeks of the season and Millwall were a league two side.

Suprisingly enough the board stuck by me and allowed me to try and redeem myself in the final year of my contract and i decided it time was for a complete revamp of the squad as shown in my transfer dealings....

A fair few youngsters released but the likes of Grimes, Abdou, Hughes, Chorley, Laird, Van Der Meyde, Bolder, Forde and Harris were all in the first team squad. This time my signings all turned out well, McCann in particular who this season hit 15 goals in his 40 games from midfield.

With a new look side we were hotly tipped to go back up and that was the board's expectations and mine, we duely romped the league finishing 19 points clear of 2nd place and breaking the 100pts mark with Nsue finishing as my top scorer with 16 followed by Kandol and McCann on 15.

It doesn't look like much transfer activity will occur this summer, Ali Fuseini has left on a free to Hearts whilst Oliver Norwood (CM released by Manure) and Ricky Lambert have signed on frees for us. All of a sudden we're in financial trouble, i've rarely splashed the cash and i'm hardly miles over the wage budget, board out now!
