Thing is its not going to change in terms of west-ham being relegated and sheff utd being re-instated,the only possible thing that will happen is a points deduction for this years prem season and another fine.

The whole thing is a shambles. The only solution I can see to this whole problem is for the PL to change their rules and allow 3rd Party contractural relationships to exist.

The whole thing is confusing as Leeds had players who where on their books who were leased, surely that is a third party as well

but that would only resolve the problem if they made it retroactive which could then set a precedent of changing laws as problems arise whihc would lead to instability, accusations of corruption e.t.c

It wouldn't need to be retroactive. The original decision to fine WHU would stand. All the PL would need to say is that from now on the offence carries no punishment. Problem solved.

from now on sure. but if the ownership of tevez is unclear at this moment in time and under scrutiny in regards to the proposed move to man utd, then surely any change in the rules wouldn't incorporate the troubles of today. unless there are no troubles today. in which case the rules wouldnt need to be changed.

Surely the punishment was calculated on the understanding that the situation was resolved. If not then there's contempt of court and possibly a retrial/reassessment of the punishment to consider.

It' is still possible that they get kicked out of the Prem, but I think it would mean a slightly smaller prem for a year with an extra promotion slot?

Was Fergie playing games with the premiership and wet spam in going after Tevez ?? was he proving to the rest of the prem that tevez was still being ruled by the 3rd party and not wet spam ??

It's the way that Manure contacted the premiership bods so early as though they were trying to push the sale through before deadline day , which is'nt for a good couple of months.
