A decent option on loan? I doubt Conte is suddenly going to use him as his starting striker when Costa leaves, and I think he'd get a lot of minutes here.

Wages would be the main sticking point, and whilst he's not getting game-time at Chelsea he's their main backup so would be unlikely to let him leave. Would much rather take a gamble on Tammy Abraham on loan as I imagine Chelsea will be wanting PL football for him next season.

We are now established in the PL, from now on I would rather not take any loans unless either they were with a view to a permanent deal (i.e. Niang & Cleverley) or they came from Udinese.
