We should of never got rid of Motta. He loved the club and could of come on from the bench and helped and anyone who doesn't agree never goes to games watches from there armchair and are not real fans.
If we're Udinese B and QPR are Watford C, does that mean QPR are Udinese F? The joke club that keeps on giving, QPHahahahahahahahahahaha
If that bloke could cross or shoot we'd have thrashed Sheff Weds by HT on the last day of the season.
Not to mention him dangling his leg out and taking down Martin (?) vs Derby and getting sent off. Since we lost the title by such a small margin, we could easily point to so many stupid little things that we did, one of them being that
to be honest I think getting the point with 10 men at derby is what gave the rest of the squad the belief they needed to go on that incredible run. maybe we should be thanking him haha.
I think that result gave us an extra little boost but I don't believe that the sending off changed their mindset significantly. We always treated that game as if it was a hugely important game and that at least a point will do. Us going down to 10 men didn't do much because we went 2-1 down afterwards (inevitably as well). It was Ince scoring that kicked us up the arse because we knew we weren't out of it yet and all the players knew they had to do was to turn it up a notch as Derby were poor at the back. As for the whole season, Deeney said that the majority of the performing players in the squad were going to leave had we not gone up and they wanted to go up for the sake of the club as well as for their sakes (which is why we got through the head-coach merry-go-round with relative ease). Undoubtedly as well, the incredibly unfortunate incident that Nic Cruwys suffered galvanised the whole club from top to bottom because we all wanted to ensure that if Nic survived (which he did), he'll be seeing us in the Prem. They wanted to do that for him which pushed the players to places they probably never went to before in their lives.
That was amazing, v Reading? If it had gone it would've been one of the best goals I would've seen at the Vic. I think that was the game FF was MOM, but Reading made about 11 changes as they had the FA Cup.
