    I just don't understand why we couldn't have paid £17m(?)for this guy. The way he elbowed the ball into the net at the weekend against the mighty Sunderland had class written all over it.
    Instead we replace the guy who's goals kept us up last season with some lightweight reserve from Milan. So demoralising.

    Its the usual story....he ll start off in a blaze of glory and score 3 goals every 2 games and then before you know it, he ll just fade off into significance scoring only 1 goal every 1 game and we ll all be relieved that we dodged the bullet and didnt sign him in the first place.
