Much Better Than All The New Grounds I Have Been To. Leicester, Middlesborough Derby Etc. Really A Striking Ground From The Outside, And Just As Good Inside. Great Legroom , Good Sightlines, And Plenty Of Room On The Concourse. Can Be A Nightmare To Reach, But So Many Are Like That Nowdays, Thats A Minor Point. Should Have A Great Atmos Fro The Manc Derby, The Bowl Effect Will Up The Volume. Having Said That They Were Quite Last Nite.
however, i do think that given it is the north and tends to rain a lot, that maybe the turnstiles should be under some sort of cover....
It was impressive but don't you think all new grounds follow a similar blueprint? Not that i'm complaining... Fanstastic atmosphere, best for a while, it was great when we started singing the old songs... 'There's only one Stevie Palmer, and he smokes marijiwana...'
Funny how even on a night like that an awful lot of people didn't know the old songs. Actually its not funny really but very predictable.
what do u mean lad WE HAVE A GROUP OF PART TIME GLORY HUNTING FAIR WEATHER FANS ON BOARD WE WONT SEE THEM AT ALL NEXT YEAR;D
Cracking stadium, I was in the Main Stand with the City fans as we had a couple of freebees. The City fans were very quiet apart from one manc behind who said in a northern drawl. Come on Citeeeee, we can beat this lot they are *****!!! Looks like we had the last laugh.... Respect for Pearce and the stadium, best I have been to, oustrips the French sorry African Gooners stadium...
