Derby Day... This once great occasion, an occasion to look forward to, has now descended into an absolute farce. 900 tickets for an extremely special type of person who will have to travel from Vicarage Rd on a Harry Potter bus, with a police escort for 20miles and pay £15 plus £30 for seat that you won’t sit on. This probably eclipses the ludicrous decision to board up the GT statue last season when there were no fans. Anyone who thinks that this is the way forward for future derby days probably agreed with Luton banning away fans. The extreme over reaction by both clubs, police, and authorities have been nothing short of ridiculous. Today is has reached a new low for this fixture....very sad.
Luton fans will certainly be waiting - not sure how you can avoid them or any trouble? It’s not like there is a different entrance for away fans /buses you might get at any half decent ground. Only seems to be a couple of HP coaches - probably a mish mash of buses tbh. Not one particularly company you’d expect a club to use .
I tend to agree with this view. There must be room for some middle ground between these arrangements and a complete free-for-all between the sets of fans. Of course part of the problem is the size of L*t*n’s ground. I can remember a crowd of over 20,000 in there once upon a time.
I feel like this is already written . Luton put the final nail in the coffin of our season and cement their playoff ambitions , whilst Rob Edwards gets one over on the club that barely gave him a chance to manage them . Hope I’m wrong though as it will be a painful one to take .
Honestly the Old Firm or Fenerbahce Galatasaray probably has their police force and clubs less cautious then ours. The whole thing is such an overreaction. It's not the 1980s any more.

These are the decoy vehicles to draw their fire. The fans are actually being smuggled in in a number of white ford vans and gypsy caravans.
I have no doubt that the person in the office who signed off on this thought it’d be hilarious and get some social media traction and hopefully make Scott notice them. It’s almost like the club wants to be an embarrassment.
